
Hailing from Co. Down, The Beat Poets were formed in April 2005. MMI looked after their interests for the first six months of their existence.
During this time the band released the industry only AA 'Staring Stars Down' and 'Bloodline', within 2 months MMI had secured radio play on 13 radio stations in Ireland as well as in The UK and Australia.
The band were chosen by XFM in London to take part in their weekily XFM Unsigned Competition which the band won. During the time MMI worked with the band they also opened for The Chemical Brothers and Sonic Youth in Marley Park, Dublin.
MMI also secured a licencing deal with Channel 4 for the extreme sports programme FreeSports on 4. We also secured a worldwide licencing deal for 'Staring Stars Down' and 'Bloodline' with Sports Giants O'Neills.
